Editorial and medical review policy
Beautystone Clinic publishes these standards so readers can clearly understand the purpose of our articles, how they are created, how sources are selected and who is responsible for medical review.
Our editorial principles
Beautystone Clinic articles aim to provide accurate, clear general medical information that helps readers understand dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Accuracy comes first
Medical explanations are aligned with verifiable evidence and current standards of care. We avoid definitive wording when evidence is limited or outcomes may vary from person to person.
Information should be understandable
We explain technical terms where needed and present the limits and relevant cautions of a treatment, not only its expected benefits.
Content creation process
When AI is used to assist with an article, our editorial standard calls for three steps: an AI-assisted draft, medical review and approval by Medical Director 위영진, and publication.
Step 1
AI-assisted draft
AI may be used as a supporting tool to organize information and structure an initial draft. Our editorial standard does not permit unreviewed AI output to be published.
Step 2
Medical Director review and approval
Under this standard, the Medical Director is expected to check medical claims, the scope of the explanation and safety-related wording, and to request necessary revisions.
Step 3
Publication after approval
Our policy requires medical review and approval before an article is published on the site. Under this standard, AI is not a medical decision-maker or final approver.
Medical accuracy and review criteria
Medical review is more than a check for readable prose. It assesses the evidence and safety of the content so readers are not misled about health or treatment information.
Claims must match the evidence
We check that descriptions of benefits, uses and medical concepts do not go beyond the cited evidence. When evidence differs or uncertainty remains, those limitations are not concealed.
Safety and context
Treatment outcomes can vary with each person's condition and clinical circumstances. General information is not presented as an individualized diagnosis or treatment instruction.
Source standards
Sources supporting medical claims are selected for reliability, proximity to the original evidence and currency.
Sources we prioritize
We prioritize guidelines from relevant professional societies, government and public health authorities, and peer-reviewed original research. When secondary material is used, we check the scope of the original source whenever possible.
Sources excluded as evidence
Commercial promotional material intended to sell a product or service is not used as evidence for medical claims. We do not expand a source's conclusions beyond their actual scope or quote them out of context.
Content update and revision policy
Medical knowledge and standards of care can change, so our update policy is to prioritize re-review when new evidence or revised guidance identifies a need to update published content.
Updates and revisions
Content with identified new evidence, changed clinical standards, factual errors or outdated information is placed in review. Necessary revisions are subject to the Medical Director review standard, and clarity edits follow the same accuracy principles.
Date information
Each article displays its publication date. When medical-review date information is provided for an article, its final medical review date is also displayed.
Advertising and conflicts of interest
We value transparency so readers can judge information with an understanding of who operates the content and its commercial context.
Who operates the content
The articles are operated by Beautystone Clinic and may explain care or procedures offered by the clinic. We do not conceal this ownership from readers.
Commercial material and interests
Our policy excludes promotional advertising as evidence for medical claims. When an identified commercial relationship could materially affect content judgment, the editorial standard calls for disclosure in the relevant content.
Reporting errors and corrections
Reader reports help us maintain accurate content. If you find a factual error, outdated information, a source issue or unclear wording, please let us know by email.
How to report an issue
Including the URL of the article and the passage that needs review helps us investigate the issue accurately.
Review and correction
Reports that identify the article and the issue can be assessed. Our policy assigns medically substantive points to the Medical Director review standard and calls for confirmed errors to be corrected as needed.
Medical disclaimer
Beautystone Clinic articles are general medical content provided for educational and informational purposes.
Not a substitute for individual care
Articles do not replace care, diagnosis or treatment based on an individual's symptoms, medical history and condition. Consult a medical professional directly for decisions about a health concern or procedure.
Medical reviewer
Our editorial standard assigns Medical Director 위영진 responsibility for reviewing medical accuracy and safety and granting final approval before publication.
